Officials from Su Shwe Nadi Trading & Consultancy (Official Representative of Messe Frankfurt / Messe Düsseldorf for Myanmar) visited and met with the UMBEEA association to discuss an upcoming seminar. The seminar will present information regarding the world’s largest listed international trade fairs, as well as the international business and market opportunities that Myanmar manufacturers and entrepreneurs can gain through these major exhibitions.

🇲🇲🇰🇭 Myanmar–Cambodia Economic Cooperation Strengthened

To strengthen economic cooperation between Myanmar and Cambodia, an MOU signing ceremony was held on June 30, 2026, in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, at the invitation of Cambodia’s Global Entrepreneurs 1%. Representatives from UMBEEA attended the event.
Following an invitation to sign the MOU from His Excellency Mr. Sarath Ying (Secretary of State and Advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia) of the Global Entrepreneurs 1% Club Myanmar in Cambodia, a delegation led by Daw Khin Chaw Su Win, Vice Chairperson of UMBEEA (The Union of Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association), attended the opening ceremony of the Global Fortune 500 CEOs Cambodia – Asia Pacific 2026 held at the Morgan Tower in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, as special guests.
During the ceremony, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed with the aim of further enhancing cooperation in the economic, trade, investment, and business sectors between Myanmar and Cambodia. 🇲🇲🇰🇭
Additionally, the delegation had the opportunity to be introduced to and meet with Mr. Vuthea Heang, President (Central Office), as well as the Vice President of the Cambodian Women Entrepreneurs Association. 🇰🇭
The Cambodian side warmly discussed and exchanged views on future action plans for collaboration with UMBEEA, business connections, and mutually beneficial opportunities for entrepreneurs from both countries.
This MOU marks a significant step forward for trust, partnership, and long-term development between the business communities of both countries. It is believed that this will create more opportunities for Myanmar entrepreneurs to connect with international business networks.

မတ်လ (၁၇)နေ့တွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ ဗမာတိုင်းရင်းသားလုပ်ငန်းရှင်များအသင်း UMBEEA မှ ဥက္ကဌဦးဆောင်သော အလုပ်အမှုဆောင်အဖွဲ့သည် PiU College ၏ ဖိတ်ကြားမှု့ဖြင့် ကျောင်းတည်ရှိရာ လှိုင်မြို့နယ်သို့ သွားရောက်ခဲ့ရာ ကျောင်းမှပါမောက္ခဆရာကြီးများနှင့် တာဝန်ရှိသူများမှ နွေးထွေးပျူငှာစွာ ကြိုဆိုဧည့်ခံကြပါသည်။
ထို့နောက် UMBEEA အသင်း၏ ၅-နှစ်တာ ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်ခဲ့သည်များကို မိတ်ဆက်ပြောကြားပြီး PiU မှလည်း UMBEEA အသင်း၏ MSMEs များအတွက် အချိန်တိုအတွင်း ထိရောက်မြန်ဆန်စွာ လေ့လာနိုင်သော ပြင်သစ်နိုင်ငံ(IDRAC Business School (FIGS) France)မှ MBA Program ကိုရှင်းလင်းမိတ်ဆက်ပြောကြားပြီး MBA မှ တဆင့် Ph.D အထိ ပြင်သစ်မှ ဆက်လက်သင်ယူနိုင်ကြောင်း သိရှိလေ့လာခဲ့ရပါသည်။
၎င်းအပြင် UMBEEA အသင်းဝင်များ၏ သားသမီးများအတွက်လည်း BBA Program ကို Special Scholarship လျှောက်ထားနိုင်မည့်အကြောင်းအရာများရှိကြောင်းကိုပါ လေ့လာသိရှိခဲ့ရပါသည်။

On March 17, an executive committee delegation led by the Chairman of the Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association (UMBEEA) visited the PiU College campus in Hlaing Township upon their invitation. They were warmly and hospitably welcomed by the college’s professors and officials.
During the visit, UMBEEA introduced and shared the achievements the association has made over the past five years. In turn, PiU presented an MBA program from IDRAC Business School (FIGS) France, designed for UMBEEA’s MSME members to study efficiently and effectively within a short timeframe. It was also learned that students can further pursue their education from this MBA program up to a Ph.D. level from France.
Additionally, information was gathered regarding special scholarship application opportunities for the BBA program, available for the children of UMBEEA members.

On March 13, Director Mr. Tom Chin and his team from the Taiwan Trade Center (TAITRA), Yangon Branch, visited and met with the Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association (UMBEEA).
During the meeting, they extended invitations to their TAITRA TRADE SHOWS Programs scheduled throughout 2026. These include:
April: Taipei International Automobile Electronics Show
June: COMPUTEX TAIPEI and FOODTECH TAIPEI
September: Taiwan Innotech Expo (highly recommended for MSMEs to visit)
October: Taipei Int’l Electronics Show and KAOHSIUNG FOOD SHOW
It was noted that if participating members from the association meet the specified criteria, applications can be submitted for complimentary hotel accommodation during the exhibition periods.
Furthermore, they explained that if a delegation of ten (10) or more individuals from the UMBEEA association visits Taiwan, complimentary hotel accommodation can be arranged for dates specified by them.
They also engaged in a warm and friendly discussion on the procedures and channels for Myanmar MSMEs to source and connect with any machinery, raw materials, or technology needed from Taiwan.

On March 12, a preparatory coordination meeting for the upcoming Myanmar-China Trade and Investment EXPO 2026 was held. The meeting was attended and discussed by the Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association (UMBEEA) and the responsible representative, Mr. Soh Keng Khoon. It is learned that the discussions also included plans to implement future collaborative processes.
